Rotaract Scheveningen becomes a Peace Club

We are proud to announce that Rotaract Scheveningen has officially been recognized as a Peacebuilder Club, the first in the Netherlands and the first in Europe, and one of only a few worldwide. Together with Rotary The Hague Metropolitan and Rotary Gouda-Bloemendaal, we are part of a growing network of Peacebuilder Clubs in the Netherlands.

Based in The Hague, internationally known as the City of Peace and Justice, our club is uniquely positioned to contribute to global conversations and local action on peacebuilding.

This milestone reflects our commitment to promoting dialogue, fostering understanding, and taking action for a more peaceful and inclusive society. As part of the global network of Rotary International, we join a community dedicated to advancing peace through leadership and service.

One of our key initiatives contributing to this mission is the Youth Peace Summit, where young leaders come together to exchange ideas, build connections, and collaborate on solutions for a more peaceful future.

For us, peace is not just an idea, it is something we actively build, together.
