On May 13th, Volunteers from Rotaract Scheveningen went to Stadsboerderij Molenweide in the Hague, to help clean up a field for Wednesday’s sheep shearing event. There will be a lot of kids running around, so we made sure there were no big branches or animal poop surprises to stumble on.
We also helped make a pathway on an empty corner of the farm. And of course, said hello to the animals. They were all very friendly.

It is crucial, that canals are cleaned, as they usually send off their waste into rivers, which in turn bring waste to the oceans. It is important to clean up our canals, rivers and oceans if we want to have a sustainable future and why wouldn’t we?
