On November 27, volunteers of the Rotaract Scheveningen helped the local home shelter Leger des Heils. Leger des heils is a shelter home for homeless people where the residents can stay for 2 years. They also provide a shed for non-residents where they can stay and have some coffee.
The club volunteers helped the shelter prepare lasagna for the residents and non-residents. The volunteers had a fun time preparing the lasagna. Even though the food was served past the usual dutch dinner time due to the non-working oven, the guests and residents of the shelter were very understanding and patient. Everyone loved the lasagna and complimented it.

What is this about?
Our Club is doing a charity breakfast to collect funds to educate children about climate and water in South Africa and Romania. We are currently working on a water education package, which will be distributed in schools.

Sunday, 12th of December! We will be delivering breakfasts in the Hague from 08:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Straight to your doorstep with keeping the required distance, of course!

Chocolate brownie, Yoghurt with granola, Quiche with vegetables, Toast (ham and cheese), fruit salad and juice

It was baking time on October 23rd when our club volunteers baked cakes and pies at Domus 3 Leger des Heils.

Our club baked some cakes and pies for both the residents and non-residents and people were very happy to have some sweets. We as a club also had an amazing time baking.
